We are looking for a dynamic and hardworking Office Administrator who will be a first port of call for all existing and potential customers.

Working hours: Mon-Friday, 9:30am – 18:00pm.

Requirements:

- Excellent English Literacy.

  • Support: You’ll support the designers during the customer sales journey as a sounding board and point of reference on queries related to supplier lead times, delivery planning, and installation team coordination to deliver the customer projects within their schedule.
  • Project Management: You’ll act as an internal and external point of contact for all project administration elements for every customer project, liaising with the relevant suppliers, logistics, and installation partners to name a few.
  • Operations: You’ll set up internal systems and processes, oversee compliance with organizational procedures and ensure the profitability of the showroom. You’ll ensure your showroom constantly meets the high Schmidt standards – and is a proud representative of our trusted brand.

Being a fitter with Schmidt is extremely varied. You might be installing a designer entrance closet one day, an open-plan kitchen the next, and a bespoke bathroom suite the week after that. Installation can last for one or several days, depending on scope. 

You’ll have accurate technical plans from our sales designers, who’ve worked closely with the customer to bring their vision to life.   

You’ll carry out the project installation from A to Z: 

  • Taking precise measurements
  • Installing fixed furniture like cabinets
  • Cutting and fitting worktops, bases, and splashbacks
  • Connecting fittings and household appliances
  • Quality control testing and adjustments
  • Final clear-up to leave customers’ homes immaculate

Your final job will be signing off the certificate of completion and watching customers’ faces light up when they see their new space!
